Distribución: El Pelícano Blanco es natural del Viejo Mundo. Su distribución comprende desde el este de Europa hasta Mongolia, al este de Asia. Continúa su presencia en África por el Valle de la Gran Depresión hasta Sudáfrica. Algunos llegan hasta España, donde se le conoce por Pelícano Común.
